Digital Images from Microfilm
With state of the art film scanners, Biel’s can scan any standard microfilm format and create digital images to be uploaded into an existing electronic document management system or directly onto CD’s for viewing over your network or the Internet.
Microfilm from Digital Images
Do your electronic/digital documents and data comply with government regulations for record retention? Do you have a disaster recovery program for your electronic records? Biel’s can convert your digital images to microfilm so they can easily be stored for disaster recovery or government compliance.
Microfilm Processing/Duplication and Disaster Recovery
Biel’s is a Certified Kodak Image Guard Lab, offering a complete microfilm processing and duplication program monitored by Eastman Kodak for quality. We process 16mm, 35mm and 105mm microfilm and create diazo and silver duplicates for backup.
By using Kodak microfilm and Biel’s Image Guard Lab, you are automatically covered by the Kodak Disaster Recovery Program. This includes film restoration, paper reproduction and recovery consultation, and best of all it’s at no charge. If disaster strikes, a call to 1-800-EKC TEST gives you an immediate response to your disaster needs.
Computer Output Microfiche (C.O.M.)
C.O.M. remains the most cost effective method of archiving, mass replicating and distributing computer reports
Biel’s has been providing Computer Output Microfilm for over 20 years. We produce microfiche from magnetic tapes or you can FTP your data to us on a 24 x 7 basis. COM is produced with the same methods used for regular microfilm, except that information is taken directly from the computer rather than from paper source documents. COM stores data in a very compact format; up to 270 pages can be contained on a single 4″ x 6″ fiche. When storage space is a major consideration, Computer Output Microfilm (COM) is a service option to consider for storing data.
